Graphics Background
My education consists of an Associates Degree in Graphic Arts Print Technology. I have also continued educating myself over the years via various mini courses/seminars in various graphics programs as well as photographic courses.

My work experiences include working for a variety of service bureaus as well as in-house design departments for various sized companies. In 1998 I moved to London, UK and ran my own company for almost 10 years. I returned to the USA in 2007 and have been working as a freelancer since.

My experience in the graphics industry dates back to 1989, pre-desktop publishing. I started with the use of traditional typesetting equiptment then moved on to linux which progressed to PC's, and finally to the use of Mac computers.

I learned the arts the old fashioned way and have added the various advancements of technology to my skills as soon as they have become available. I am familiar with various types of printing and a variety of multi-media formats.

Technology Background
I have always been interested in advancements in technology in general, but with added interest in the use of computers within the design industry. Throughout my career I have been responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of various types of equipment, from traditional typesetters, horizontal cameras, presses as well as desktop computers (PC & Mac).

On the Mac platform I have dealt with networking issues, installation and resolution of software/system conflicts, and internet management.
